B-cell Hematopoietic Panel
The "round 1" staining panel is an unfocused panel designed to, hopefully, both cast a wide net to not miss a neoplasm and provide enough information to sign out the majority of B-cell hematopoietic neoplasms. Stains could be added or removed to either prevent the possible necessity of a second round of stains, or save financial expense at the possible cost of extra rounds of stains (time) to fully characterize the neoplasm.
Suggested Panel, round 1: CD3, CD5, CD10, CD19, CD20, CD21, CD22, CD23, CD38, CD43, CD56, CD79a, Bcl-2, Bcl-6, Kappa, Lambda, p53, Ki67
- Add these if this is a marrow: Factor VIII, Spectrin, CKC, Reticulin, Iron
