Kyle C. Shaw

In short, I was born and raised in the southeastern U.S. and generally remained there (a few trips (mid-west, Alaska, Africa) notwithstanding) until after obtaining a Bachelor of Science. I then moved to Melbourne for a year, then medical school in Sydney, followed by an intern year split between Sydney and the eastern coast between Sydney & Brisbane. Trips around that time included Thailand, New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, Singapore, England (London), and France (Paris), from a few days up to 2-3 weeks each.

More recently I returned to the U.S. and entered a pathology residency in Virginia.

Hobbies have included soccer (lifelong, somewhat serious at times), hunting, fishing, climbing, and strategy & roleplaying computer games. A second ACL injury combined with the rigors of residency have almost sidelined the serious soccer.
