Vibrio vulnificus

Clinical: Causes rapidly progressive wound infections (swelling, erythema, pain, vesicles/bullae, eventual necrosis) following exposure to contaminated seawater, and septicemia (~50% mortality without treatment) following consumption of raw oysters.
