Papillary Ependymoma

Microscopic: Rare variant of "typical" ependymoma characterized by well-formed papillae in which tumor vessels are covered by a smooth layer of tumor cells. The differential diagnosis of this pattern type includes choroid plexus papilloma, papillary meningioma, and any of the metastatic papillary carcinomas.
