Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)

• Blasts = 10-19% of WBC's in peripheral blood and/or of nucleated bone marrow cells.
• Basophils >= 20% in peripheral blood.
• Persistent thrombocytopenia (<100x10
  9/L) unrelated to therapy OR persistent thrombocytosis (>1000x10
  9/L) unresponsive to therapy.
• Increasing spleen size and increasing WBC count unresponsive to therapy.
• Cytogenetic evidence of clonal evolution.
