General: Can be used pre or post-mortem. Commonly used in newborn screening.
Can test for:
- Biotinidase deficiency
- Congenital adrenal hyperplasia
- Congenital hypothyroidism
- Cystic fibrosis
- Galactosemia
- Maple syrup urine disease
- Phenylketonuria
