Andrade's broth

General: Contains a sugar-free peptone broth with a specific carbohydrate additive and decolorized acid fuschin as the pH indicator, to determine fermentation status. A Durham tube may be inserted to detect gas formation. Should inoculate and process a parallel control without the carbohydrate additive.
